On January 10, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti, affecting millions with devastation, hunger and homelessness and death.
The MPCC World Relief Fund is preparing to ship two 40 foot containers to Haiti in hopes to help in the relief efforts.
We are taking donations to fill the container with bottled water, nonperishable foods, diapers, wipes, toiletries, items of clothing and shoes. We are also taking monetary donations in the form of checks to help cover shipping cost.
Donations can be dropped off at our church located at 6301 Ager Road, Hyattsville MD 20782 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am 9:00 pm. You can call ahead to make sure some one will be on hand to take your donation at 301-442-9582.
